HISTORICAL INFO-
The Ranger Regiment bridge the gap between Special Forcesunit and the regular military, with superior equipment and training to Army units but performing a wide range of missions including direct action, airfield seizure, airborne and air assaults, special reconnaissance, personnel recovery, and High-Value Target raids.
Motto- "Rangers lead the way!"

THE FACTION-
The 75th Ranger Regiment faction consists of Ranger units wearing Multicam uniforms and armed with Daniel Defence mk18's and FN SCAR-H's. The Rangers use period accurate equipment and weapons based on photgraphs and helmet camera footage taken from July 2014 through to December 2015 deployment tour of the 75th Ranger Regiment to Afganistan. Marksmen and command units are issued SCAR-H's, while regular Ranger infantrymen get Mk18's. They also have M249 SAWS issued on the fireteam level, with platoon level issue of MMGs.

SPECIALIST ELEMENTS-
A small PMC Contractor faction is also included, with equipment dating to between 2008 and 2011 in Afghanistan and Iraq.
The PMC units consist of smaller teams, with lighter equipment, including mixed civilian and military equipment, armed with primarily M4A1 Carbines, supported by the occasional DMR or autorifleman- Many of the PMC's have significantly lighter armor and gear than the Rangers, acting as more security and HVT protection or bodyguards than actual frontline combat units. They also have a small bodyguard team for escorting allied HVT's or VIP's.

SUPPORTS-
Chinooks give the Rangers the ability to deploy platoon sized elements on the ground quickly, as a QRF or rapid assault force. They have forces varying from light recon units and sentry teams to full squads, as well as an MMG team for when greater supression is needed. They have heavy heavy fire support if they need it, ranging from a RAH-66 Commanche gunship, M270 MLRS rockets and A-10 Warthog CAS. All aircraft are piloted by the 160th SOAR, a special forces alligned pilot unit, and they have a range of rotor aircraft such as MH-6 Little birds, Chinooks, and AH-6 Littlebirds.

The PMC contractors are grouped as Infantry units, and the various Ranger teams are Special Forces and Air Support.

Faction has full Editor, Zeus, Task Force Radio, ACE3 and ALiVE support (faction name BLU_AI )
Set ALiVE unit type to 'infantry' to spawn contractors, and to 'S.F' to spawn Ranger teams.

They form one of the Special Forces units in the Marine Corps, and are under the command of MARSOC- Marine Special Operations Command. The faction contains several units of Raiders, with supporting Scout elements and light vehicle and helicopter support.
The faction is based upon photos and helmet-camera footage, primarily on a deployment in 2010 to the Farah province, Bala Baluk District, Afghanistan, 2010, but I also have sources from 2012, 2013 and 2016.

HISTORICAL INFO-
Named after the Marine Raiders unit from WW2, the Marine Raiders are a Marine Special Forces unit, created as the Marine's element of SOCOM, Special Operations Command, in 2005- members were drawn from other Marine SF units such as Force Recon. The unit was initially trained by the Navy SEALS but is now independent.

THE FACTION-
The Marine Raiders units have a distinct appearance, being one of the only remaining combat units in the US who still use the M81 Woodland Camo pattern. Armaments consist of 2 primary infantry rifles- the Daniel Defence MK18 and the FN SCAR-H, in both Marksman roles and as an infantry weapon. Supporting units carry weapons such as the M27 IAR (Fireteam Level) and M249 SAW (Squad level) with other weapons including small numbers of M4A1's, SCAR-L's and 338. Lapua Magnum rifles. They wear M81 Woodland camo with Tan equipment.

SPECIALIST ELEMENTS-
The Raiders have support from a Raider Scout team, who are lightly armored, fast moving infiltration units who carry heavy 7.62 battle rifles as standard, and have supressors. The Scouts have less body armor than the regular Raiders, but have much heavier firepower and access to long-range rifles such as the 338. Lapua Magnum.

SUPPORTS-
They have vehicle support from Light Strike Vehicles and from APC's, who can also transport a heavily armed assault team as a Quick-Reaction-Force (QRF) The Raiders also have helicopter support from a MH-60 aircraft or Zodiac boat for insertions.

Faction has full Editor, Zeus, Task Force Radio and ALiVE support (faction name MR ) Also supports ACE3 Medical system.

New Insignias that will be on upons when spawned- the Marine Raiders element have full-color flashes, while the Scouts have subdued variants.

ACEX is an extra package to compliment the ACE3 modification for Arma 3. It contains additional components on top of the ACE3 modification that provide extra functionality and is entirely optional.

[Description]
The military forces of Belravnina are split into the army (BVS) and defense forces (BSO); members of both are career soldiers and share training and equipment.

The BSO is largely concerned with defense of civilian areas from both external and internal forces, and therefore also acts as a local SWAT force in conjunction with local police (but does not replace the police). The green-and-blue uniform is therefore intended to fit in better with urban clothing while retaining a unique appearance. Currently, the BSO is not entirely fleshed out and thus, while the uniforms are available, units have not been fully defined.

The BVS generally handles national defense, as well as offensive operations; in peacetime, units may be sent out as mercenaries to foreign conflicts to keep them in shape. The typical BVS platoon consists of two regular infantry squads, a skirmish squad, a support squad, and a recon squad. The regular infantry squad is intended for medium-range engagements and general-purpose usage, and is reasonably mobile with good firepower. The skirmish squad is an extremely mobile unit meant to harass the enemy and handle CQB situations. The support squad is a less mobile unit which would set up behind the front line and provide heavy fire support. Finally, the recon squad typically spreads out and allows the rest of the platoon to know what is going on ahead of time.

The Shturm elite forces are highly trained shock troops who focus on attacking new positions, and focus on highly mobile tactics combined with high firepower and range to eliminate opposition before they can react. They allow themselves to stand out through the use of uncamouflaged beige vests and black masks.

This mod adds new faction (Lithuanian Armed Forces) to ARMA 3. Faction currently consists of Lithuanian Land Force, Lithuanian Air Force and LITHSOF units and vehicles. Mod mainly does retexturing of various vanilla ARMA 3 textures and most popular ARMA 3 mods (CUP and RHS)textures.
Having in mind that Lithuanian ARMA 3 community is relatively small, mod gives great attention to LITHSOF, because special operations are usually conducted by small teams.

MOD FEATURES:
- Entirely new, playable faction;
- Various uniforms, helmets, vests, caps and balaclavas retextures, adding Lithuanian camouflage patterns or colors (woodland, desert and new camouflage design used by LITHSOF). Also uniform retexture with solid colors (used by LITHSOF only), ghilie suit retexture (to match more forested environment, like Lithuania) and pilot uniform retextures.
- LAF insignias (mainly LITHSOF);
- Mi8 and vanilla light helicopter (which is very similar to lithuanian used Eurocopters) retextures;
- Land rover (used by LITHSOF) retexture;
- Lithuanian names and surnames (only for land and air force soldiers). Also LITHSOF soldiers pseudonyms (for immersion, almost all pseudonyms are real Lithuanian partisans pseudonyms).
