AIS, short for armor improvement system, is an attempt to improve armored combat in ARMA 3. The end goal is to make tank and armored vehicle combat a more enjoyable experience by adding more depth and realism.

Feature(s)
- Active Protection System (APS)

An active protection system (APS) for armored vehicles, specifically for the M2A1 Slammer or known in the real world as the Merkava Mk4. In short the main features for the APS module are:
- Provides limited protection vs missiles and rockets.
- Does not stop kinetic penetrators, like APFSDS.
- Each APS module is limited to 4 uses.
- Each APS module has a short reload time.
- Relatively safe for infantry right next to the vehicle.
- The M2A1 has two independent APS modules on each side of the turret.
- Modified AI behavior, the AI will search for the source of launch.
- Can be enabled via config to work with all armored vehicles.

KDK11 veröffentlichte sein KDKSeaKing Addon in den Bi-Foren. Ein Reskin Addon des CH49-Mohawk. Das Addon soll ein Royal Navy Sea King Hubschrauber darstellen.

Hello everyone this is my first ever Addon release. Although Arma 3 is set in the mid 2030's I decided to reskin the CH49-Mohawk to look like the Royal Navy's Sea King helicopter (shown below).

Unfortunately I know nothing about modelling in arma therefor I could not create a helicopter to look exactly the same as the Sea King but I think it looks good on the CH49-Mohawk.

I would like to thank the BI community for all the help with tutorials etc to help people like me be able to release these addons. And I would like to thank Sulpher for helping me to get the config just right for this to work. I would also like to thank Comp_uter15776 for helping with adding/removing details to try and make it look as accurate as possible using the CH49-Mohawk model.

Feel free to ask me for certain reskins you would like to see in arma and I will try my best to release them for you. As always any comments, constructive criticism is welcome

Nach einer langen Alpha und Beta-Phase ist ArmA3 heute offiziell Weltweit veröffentlich worden.

A new version of my lighting mod is now available. It doesn't change much this time, because BIS did a better job with the lighting in the beta. Basically I just adjusted the lens flares a bit, making them fade out gently as you enter or leave the light's cast cone. I did a revamp of the chemical lights, I adjusted the color and fixed a data error that made the yellow and blue lights 10x brighter than they should be. I replaced the 3d models for them as well because their default models were missing the glow effect on their LODS.

On a side note, for the beta BIS disabled over half of the streetlights in the game. While this might seem silly, the game in its current state just can't handle multiple overlapping lights very well. A few little tweaks could get the lights working again, but it just causes slowdowns and flickering. Also, there are a ton of LOD errors with the streetlamps, you will notice that most of them are missing the light emitting parts. This results in the streetlamps looking totally dark but with a goofy lens flare just hanging there. A few if them shine only in the first LOD. The chemical lights also had this problem.
