It has been almost six months since our last update and we know you have all been eagerly awaiting our next patch. This has been an unusually long development stretch without a release for us, but we wanted to bring a bit more to the table than previously. This update will not only bring an array of new vehicles, weapons, items and features but also delivers a whole new faction/mod.

Some of you have already noticed Serbian servicemen in some of our teasers, but we have never formally announced their official inclusion into RHS. Today however we would like to change that. In the past, “The Serbian Armed Forces Mod” team has successfully collaborated with RHS on the creation of GREF. This collaboration has resulted in a very strong bond and the eventual merger of their talented members into our team. We are very proud to introduce RHS: Serbian Armed Forces as a new mod in the family. It has been able to completely leverage the assets of other RHS packages all while delivering a very varied and unique base of it’s own content. We are very excited to have them within our team and believe you all will be too. RHS: SAF like RHS: GREF, requires AFRF and USAF to play.

The full list of new and fixed things can, as always, be found in the changelogs that are located in the downloaded mod folders.

Alongside this patch comes our transition towards the Steam Workshop, where this and all future updates will be primarily located. This means that the updaters that you guys so loved/hated will no longer be supported . We will be thinking of re-implementing some sort of a solution for server deployment for those of you that run on Linux systems, but that will come later. Our site will also receive a facelift at some point to reflect the transition to SW and could right now contain outdated information.

The radar settings have been raised slightly in range, the vanilla sonic boom effect has been added, community member ShadowSix provided a new flight model, vehicle customization in Eden was added for the many skins, the service menu was adjusted to allow for dynamic loadout.

CUP veröffentlichte sein Community Upgrade Project - Terrains Pack in den Bi-Foren. Die CUP Terrains sind der Nachfolger von "A3MP" und "All in ArmA - Terrain Pack (AIA TP)" und soll alle BIS Landschaften und Inseln für ArmA3 enthalten.

The Community Upgrade Project is an initiative to bring all the content of ArmA 2 [+ OA and DLCs] from BI into ArmA 3, upgraded to the ArmA 3 feature set. Its goal is to provide those assets to the community as a mod ready to use in the game, and as an open-source repository for modders to build upon and learn from.

3. Release of the content in a coherent way

CUP Terrains
CUP Terrains, the successor of “A3MP” and “All in ArmA – Terrain Pack (AiA TP)”, builds upon the work done by kju for AiA TP and brings all of BI’s iconic terrains to ArmA 3 as well as support for all the amazing 3rd-party terrains created by the community. CUP Terrains maintains full backwards compatibility to A3MP and AiA TP – no need to adjust any missions or maps.

CUP Terrains is modular, so there are different versions available:
CUP Terrains – Complete: featuring everything, all the data and the BI terrains. Not available for download on platforms with automatic dependency support such as Steam Workshop or PlayWithSIX.

CUP Terrains – Core: featuring only the data necessary for the terrains, but none terrain itself. Useful for those who only want to use CUP Terrains with 3rd-party terrains. But beware: some 3rd-party maps might be dependent on BI terrains.

CUP Terrains – Maps: featuring only the maps created by BI – needs CUP Terrains Core to work. If you only want a part of the terrains featured here, just delete the respective pbo-files of the maps you don’t want. But beware: there might be interdependencies between terrains.

After a few months of work on this mod Saul and me would like to share with the community our recent version of SU-35 S Flanker E mod. Saul has put in tremendous effort in to HD textures and updating the model. We have added nice set of features and improved the overall characteristics of the jet. This is release 0.99 of the Nimitz in Arma 3. Over the last half year there have been many changes to the Nimitz.

First, the number and aftmast have been made configurable via Eden, so any of the existing Nimitz carriers can be impersonated to some degree. Note that doesn't include details like the different aft mast or changed island shapes. But we continue to explore this direction.

Next, the holes in the fore hull have been closed and do now contain deployable drawbridges. This should allow the Nimitz to stay in a port and make it accessible from the pier. A touchdown sound was added to the flightdeck when a plane lands. The anti-air weaponry received a textures update from the TheSn4k3, and the logos were updated by Odyseus. The briefing and map room now show the picture map of the island one plays on. The Tilly crash crane has now the ability to remove all Air, Land and Ship wrecks in the vincinity. Shockley did provide new hull textures, completely with all derivative textures. We hope you like the new look. With help of the Freedom technology the Nimitz stays now longer visible via the setting FeatureType = 2. The dynamic airport config also found it's way into the Nimitz, so players can now autoland on the carrier - don't forget to deploy the tailhook though! Further some air conditioning units and sounds were placed on the carrier, as well as a static engine sound at the aft of the carrier.

The final addition is the use of Grumpy Old Man's (GOM) aircraft loadout scripts via the weapons elevator. Any dynamic loadout capable plane can now be re-equiped at the weapons elevator.

CUP Weapons Pack
This is the WEAPONS pack. It contains all the weapons, assault rifles, machine guns, shotguns, grenade launchers, pistols, sniper rifles, and whatever else goes "boom" in Arma 2 and the expansion and DLC's. All weapons are stripped of their attachments were possible, and these have been turned into attachable scopes, lasers, flashlights, and bipods interchangeable with the vanilla content.
Some of the weapons are new or derived from the original ones.

CUP Units Pack
This is the Units pack. It contains all the units of the original Arma 2 and Arrowhead as well as the DLC. Right now, there are a lot of placeholder units that do not look like the original ones but are instead stand-ins using default Arma 3 uniforms and CUP equipment. In this version, the United States Marine Corps faction has been ported, meaning that the units are the original uniforms, vests, equipment and headgear of the Arma 2 units of the same name. All uniforms and vests are compatible with vanilla content, meaning that you can mix vanilla and CUP content.

Project Uncut is a continuation of the ADF: Uncut mod. The Australian Defence Force has some of the most unique equipment, camouflage and weponry in the world. The Project Uncut mod for ArmA 3 aims to recreate these unique features, to give you the most fair dinkum experience as possible.

The Australian Defence Force is made up by three Sevices, The Australian Army, The Royal Australian Navy (RAN) and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). This addon provide UK SOF units to BLUFOR side; It adds several new camouflage for uniforms plus custom opscore helmets and platecarriers in order to represent UK SOF units in following factions:
- SOF(multicam): for every kind of environment from desert to temperate and wooden areas.
- SOF(woodland): for temperate and wooden areas.
- SOF(desert): for arid and desert environments.
- SOF(arctic): for snow and arctic environments.
- SOF(CT): black uniforms and kits for CT/HR ops.
- SOF(Covert-Ops): civilian clothes and tan kits.
- SOF(Special troops): CBRN operator and combat suit operator.
- SOF(Paras): equipped with parachutes ready to be deployed fom the sky.
- SOF(Divers): divers units ready to be deployed fom the sea.
- SOF(Snipers): sniper and spotter in ghillie suit.
I used web sources for references.

Features:
- Units are equipped with HK417 derived from A3 Apex SPARs, so no other addons are required now.
- Units are equipped with custom Colt L119A1 rifles (normal, CQB and M203 black and camo variants), they're compatible with all other accessores without any requirements.
- Units are equipped with custom opscore helmets, headgear, platecarriers, uniforms.
- Weapons are compatible with CBA and all third party's optics/accessories compatible with CBA, even if CBA is not a requirement for this addon.
- Each camo class has its own faction now (Alive will spawn units with same camo now).
- Custom facegear like googles, gasmask and beard.
- Paras and Divers units already equipped with parachutes and diver gear respectively.
- There are 2 weapon boxes containing all weapons/ammo and custom gear/equipment.
- Wide variety of groups in the editor.
- Uniforms, headgear, weapons and equipment can be placed on the ground in 3d editor now.
- Preview pictures in the editor.
- Custom flags and markers.
- Classlist included in folder.
- Reduced addon size, improved cfg, improved models and textures and removed dependencies from other addons.
